Can I still register for #EIE18 even though registration has closed?
As of December 1, registration is closed. On-site registration will be available starting December 5.
How do I make hotel reservations?
Rooms at the Marriott Marquis Washington, DC are now sold out. We have limited availability left at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown, which is our official overflow hotel. The discounted group rate of $279 + tax per night is available for the nights of December 5 and December 6. To secure a room, please email Carolyn Stich at Carolyn@ExcelinEd.org.
Can I update my registration information?
You can make certain changes online to your registration using the email address used to purchase your ticket. Substitution requests must be sent via email to SummitInfo@ExcelinEd.org.
Is my registration/ticket transferable to another person?
In some cases, yes. Transfer requests must be sent via email to SummitInfo@ExcelinEd.org.
Are there ID requirements to enter the event?
Attendees will be asked to present a valid ID at check-in to ensure the name on the registration matches.
Do I have to bring proof of registration to the National Summit on Education Reform?
We advise bringing confirmation of your registration with you in case there are system complications at the time of check-in.
What is the refund policy?
Cancellations made by November 2, 2018, will receive a full refund and can be done online. Cancellations, transfers or changes to ticket types after November 2, 2018, can receive a refund minus a $75 processing fee.
Requests must be sent via email to SummitInfo@ExcelinEd.org. Telephone requests cannot be honored.
Please note: Credit card refunds will be processed within 48-72 hours of receipt of cancellation request; funds may not appear until 5-7 days after this transaction.
Is the National Summit open to members of the media?
Keynote, general and strategy sessions are open for members of the media to cover the event from designated press areas. All members of the media, including bloggers, who wish to cover the National Summit must be credentialed by ExcelinEd; there is no cost for credentialing or attendance. Members of the media may register for credentials by filling out the online request form. For questions, please email PressShop@ExcelinEd.org.
What is the dress code?
Business/Business Casual. Please remember that some conference rooms may get chilly.
